About Us

David Julian Laufs aka Brain loved music since he was a small child.  
He danced to Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson and Elton John, his parents music. 
At a young age he made his first contact with electronic dance music. 
At the age of 16 he was on his first Techno Party.  
Immediately he was infected. 
Through his brother, who spins up for 14 years and then he started to spin early on himself. 
The music was always, sometimes more or less, present in his life. 
Everytime when he heard music did he feel the desire to make and produce music himself. 
3 years ago he fulfilled his dream and really started making music and buying all the equipment he needed to start.  Its main style is Progressive Psy Trance.
 
His brother Patric Laufs aka Pinkie has also been making music for a long time. 
He started DJing in the Technics 1210 and vinyl era. 
Late 90s his first sound was techno and then he found his true love psy-trance like his brother did. 
Meanwhile he likes things a little bit calmer and so he ended up at   Organic & Progressive House 
like "Stan Kolev" and "Jeremy Olander“. 
He is glad that he was able to convince his brother to that kind. of sound, who is normaly working on his Pay Trance project "Sushumna". 

And so the idea of ​​"Pinkie & Brain" was born.
